Designed by Axel Lorentz as the” ultimate" one board travel board. For the crew going to the Mentwaiis or Maldives who still want a board that really performs in the slacker weaker day to day conditions of surfing back home.
Think Original 69er on steroids...narrower and sleeker…Its been slightly stretched giving a straighter plan shape. the volume has been taken out of the rails at the back third of the board and carefully blended into the fuller rail under your chest allowing you to maintain serious paddle power and giving you great rail engagement in the steeper and more powerful conditions. Compared to the Original Sixtyniner, the Sixtyniner Evo has more rocker and a deeper concave. The rocker will help tackle larger and steeper waves, and the extra concave will give even more speed.
If you’re on a trip this will give you heaps of confidence dropping in early and holding in when the waves start to jack up…It still incorporates the fluid bottom contours of the Original 69er.
INN.CA technology is a stringerless high density EPS blank, high quality fibreglass with a premium biaxial cloth on the deck, together with a carbon fibre/Innegra parabolic frame. The Innegra material wraps just inside the rail line. Carbon strips then surround the Innegra, with a carbon strip running down the centre on the bottom. This creates a lightweight, high strength board with a perfect flex/memory balance. The innegra material is hydrophobic and impact resistant. Finished with Epoxy resin glassing.
